I'm about to be an Okie.....near Muskogee

I'm glad that one of my New Year's Resolutions was not to blog every day, because I would have failed miserably!  However, I do have some news to share.  I am moving, again! I have accepted a new job in Tahlequah, OK as the store manager of a new account we just landed.  The school is Northeastern State University, with the main campus in Tahlequah, and branches in Broken Arrow and Muskogee.  I'm moving the last week in May.

One of the coolest things about this is that I will go from being one of the farthest away from our family reunions to being the closest!  That's right, I'll be less than half an hour from Tenkiller!  Woohoo!

Anyway, that's all my big news.

  1. I am so excited that you are moving closer so soon! When are you going to plan a trip to see us??? :) I can't wait. Travel safe and I hope we talk soon! Give me a call when you have time though, I know you are probably super busy!
Did you find a house? Roommate or alone?
    Miss you!

  2. That's great! I'm so jealous that you'll be so close to the reunion. That long trip home is always awful when you're so tired from the weekend. Can't wait to see you in June!!!

  3. Thanks so much for the nice comments! I am super excited about my move! I have a pic of my new place on my phone, but will post it later. It might be good to take a before and after picture so you can see where I live in Portales and where I will live in Tahlequah. Big difference!! It brings to mind The Jefferson's tune "Movin' On Up." I will not have a roommate this time, which is a good thing. I have enjoyed the roommate I have and splitting rent, but I think it is about time to step out of that. I rented a 2 bed 1 1/2 bath duplex from a guy who is a little crazy. Should be a lot of fun!
